The Fool Monty

In this episode, a new disease comes to Springfield and there are only a limited number of vaccinations. Mr. Burns takes a large number of vaccinations and destroys the rest when driving away. This causes the entire community to despise Mr. Burns even more. He then finds out that he only has a few more weeks to live, and decides to invite all the people of Springfield to an event to announce that he will be dying soon. This is where Mr. Burns finds out that everyone in the town hates him, and he is curious as to why this is the case? Mr. Burns then attempts to commit suicide, but does not succeed. After the fall, Mr. Burns seem to forget everything and go back to a childish mindset. Bart takes Mr. Burns home and starts to take care of him.The entire town was thinking about treating Mr. Burns as he treated them, but instead they decide to have each town member watch over him for an hour. During Lisa's turn, she shows Mr. Burns his mansion, and when seeing a picture of how he used to be, Mr. Burns snaps back to the way he used to be.

  1. Im not positive of this but I thought that the community decided that they were going to treat Burns badly and disagree with LIsas ideas. Some of the punishments were harmless though so it may have seemed that they were just watching over him. Homer and Abu's punishments put Burns life on the line. Homer walked Burns through a construction site and Abu made Burns face the gun during the hold up. While Flanders only wanted to take him out to a picnic and Nelson only wanted him to be his dad or uncle.
